Finder Browser 1.0.4 added better handling of image files without a file extension, in order to do this it used Spotlight information. A few people have had problems with Finder Browser crashing the Finder and this appears to be related to this new feature.

The Finder Browser 1.0.4 download has been updated to not use Spotlight information (although the improved image file handling is still there, it's just done in a different way) which should hopefully fix any issues that people are having.
