iPlace has been updated to version 1.0.1.

This update ensures compatibility with Safari 3.0.4 (which is now standard with the release of Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11).

Please note that I don't have Leopard yet so this release, although working with Leopard thanks to some testing by Louis King Jr, has had very little testing on Leopard.

Updated in this version are two feature requests:

1. Support for playing animated gif images has been added to the image browser.
2. Double clicking on a location drop box in the image browser opens that location in the Finder.


This is the first update to any of my products for several weeks now, and is a relatively small addition. There are a number of modifications I am hoping to make to iPlace and a number of other ideas I have, I'm just really busy at the moment as I have been commissioned to create a new web-site. The web-site should be finished soon and then I'll have time to do some more development work.
